ACTIVITIES NOT TO BE MISSED IN LAOS

This is a super outdated post that was due on November 2019. Now, the world had slow down due to the recent outbreak of COVID-19, I'm hoping to catch up a bit on my writing and get the brain juice flowing for this post.

Laos is not a very popular spot in Malaysia bucket list but definitely a hot spot for Korean. They had been totally under rated by Malaysian and not a cheap destination to fly about. However, there's one thing that I am very sure of, they have attractive mother nature and much more charm than you know.

I'm not going to show you their charm as of yet in this post but recommending a few activities which should not be missed when you are there (in future). 😎

1. Hot Air Balloon (Vang Vieng)

This will probably be the cheapest place to ride a hot air balloon (USD 90 - Oct'19).
The main reason we are here in Laos is for this ride. 😂
It is all worth it to wake up as early as 0400 am to just get into this special ride.
However, there's one drawback, ONE AND ONLY, it is weather dependable.

2. Nam Xay View Point (Vang Vieng)

This is probably the most challenging task of all during our whole trip. 😉

Entrance fee is 10,000 kip which is equivalent to USD 1.50 / RM5.50 (differ according to exchange rate).

I am definitely not prepared as you can see BUT upon reaching the peak, it is worth every sweat and tears. 💃

The scenery looks like a painted drawing that came alive. 😅

3. Kuang Si(Xi) Waterfall (Luang Prabang)

A three tiered waterfall that should not be missed if you love nature.🐠
Crystal clear and emerald water is calling you to swim along with the fishes in the water.
Bring along extra cloths and it will be great to jump in and enjoy the chill cold water after a long climb uphill.

4. Sunset Boat Cruise (Luang Prabang)

We rented a private boat/cruise for our sunset ride instead of a share boat.
This is at a minimal charge of 250,000 kip (limited hours).
The view is absolutely stunning and heart warming.
Having the whole boat to ourselves is the greatest thing we had done.
We sing our heart out with the karaoke facilities on boat.
Totally a stress release pill.

TOUGH

Why do people looks tough when they are actually weak in heart? Why do people pretending to stand alone without no one but actually they need care the most? Why do people trys to look tough from the outside to decrease the possibilities of being bully instead some people actually trying to help with open arms? This is actually a very broad definition out of it. So what position are you in for being tough. Everyone was trying to be tough for lots of things that they are facing nowadays. There are nothing wrong with it to be tough but remember there is still friends out there to lend you their shoulders and be a good listener.

Birthday Present

Birthday just past few days ago and I am so so happy to receive things that is so so unexpected. I never thought of receiving something special but indeed out of expectation. The first pressie is far away from Cambodia. It is a gift from my dear Cynthina . A gift doesn't necessary to be expensive. The heart always counts. The second pressie is so so unexpected that blast me off. It is a gift from ah gor . It is something that I wish to have but I never expect to get it as a gift during my birthday. The lens that come with the digital lomo . There are fish eye, star dust and some others. The digital lomo . The lomo which film not necessary in it. Only memory card needed to be insert, so how convenient it is? You get the lomo effect and at the same time do not need extra time to develop. The only thing is you can't see the picture after you capture.

YOU TIAO & JOHN KING TART

YOU TIAO is what we called in Chinese and ' YAO ZA GUAI ' is what Cantonese named it and this food is said to be origin from Cantonese people. This is one of the high demand food in Pavilion. It is simple, non-oily and reasonable in price. Their freshly made Tau Foo Far taste great and it is so smooth and doesn't have much of the bean taste which make people hardly love to eat them..... You Tiao - It is so crispy to eat just like that or you wanted to eat with their plain porridge would also be great because the combination of both makes perfect!!! Porridge - Their porridge is not so hardened or over watery. I guess that's the perfect way to describe. It is just alright and you can hardly see the rice but instead it is little sticky which a porridge should have.... After having that, my friend continuing exploring other food in the section. We go for the tart that had been very popular and keep mentioning by those who had ever had them. The legendary tart, ...
