REASONS TO HIKE AT CAMERON HIGHLANDS


Work life can be very stressful in this modern days. Everyone are trying to look for something as their stress relief pill and in this post I would like to intro this new hobby that you may pick up and may even get you addicted and end up as your new addiction and I am very sure it will be rewarding.

It was back in June that I was invited by a blogger friend (is he blogger or photographer 😕??) to go for a hiking trip at Cameron Highlands. It is not something that I fancy but I wouldn't reject when it comes to a short escape. Besides, I had always wanted to go Cameron Highlands and when I finally get companion, for sure it wouldn't be a rejection. Cut long story short, it was truly rewarding to have be part of the team.

1. REWARDING SCENERY VIEW

Hiking is not all about making to the peak fastest and getting down again. It is all about keeping your pace slow and enjoying your surroundings. Going through every corner, making every step can be really rewarding.

Do not keep your head down all the time, slow down your foot steps and start looking at your surroundings. You may have unexpected scenery that you will never get to see in your day-to-day concrete jungle you stay in.



2. ALTERNATE ROUTE SELECTION

There’s up to 10 different route available for you to choose depending on your capability. Most route are interconnecting where you can always change if there’s any unforeseen circumstances. After much consideration and discussion by the lead, Cyril himself, we decided to begin with route 10 and end up at route 6 which we get to see most fascinating part of Cameron Highland.





3. HEALTHY & POLLUTION FREE

In this hectic working life, everyone is busy to survive and struggle to be financial freedom. How many of you realised that only health gets wealth? How many of you have not spend a little time loving yourself and your precious body that had been working extremely hard all this years?

Hiking is probably the cheapest and most financial friendly activity. Besides that, you will also be able to bond with friends who have the same interest or probably make new friends. There’s more good than bad. I am sure you know what to decide. There's nothing but cool fresh air in your lung.



4. ACCESS TO TEA PLANTATION

Well, you won’t get to walk around tea plantation freely all the time while hiking. Perhaps, you don’t even get a chance to enter one during your hike. Cameron Highland shall be the only place for now that allows you to do so. Not only you get such opportunity, there’s much rewarding experience you get from it.


Well, if that still insufficient to persuade you, I guess the most effective way is to try out yourself what it feels to be hiking through that path and being close to the mother nature.

YOU TIAO & JOHN KING TART

YOU TIAO is what we called in Chinese and ' YAO ZA GUAI ' is what Cantonese named it and this food is said to be origin from Cantonese people. This is one of the high demand food in Pavilion. It is simple, non-oily and reasonable in price. Their freshly made Tau Foo Far taste great and it is so smooth and doesn't have much of the bean taste which make people hardly love to eat them..... You Tiao - It is so crispy to eat just like that or you wanted to eat with their plain porridge would also be great because the combination of both makes perfect!!! Porridge - Their porridge is not so hardened or over watery. I guess that's the perfect way to describe. It is just alright and you can hardly see the rice but instead it is little sticky which a porridge should have.... After having that, my friend continuing exploring other food in the section. Angels & Demons

This is another great production after DaVinci Code. This is greater, excited and more knowledgeable movie. This movie is more to Christian history and all the ceremony and nevertheless famous place that Christian treat as honourable. I have nothing much to comment on this movie as I think from the beginning till the end the story was quite good. The flow is indeed smooth and connected. I did enjoy the time Tom Hanks search for clue to find the candidate popes where they were hide and the place they will get killed. There is so much excitement in it. My feeling was just like a roller coaster going ups and downs without knowing what would it be the next moment. I could only give two thumbs up for it. Don't believe what I said? Watch it yourself and you will know what I meant.
