Best Char Siew Kolok Mee - Non-Halal

Some say they served the best char siew in town. They are serving breakfast actually, however their char siew seems to be the main thing that attracts customer to sit in. Us is one of the bunch which were leaded by our food hunter, Garry.

What is so special about their char siew? Try and have a look at pictures below......

It is all traditionally made using charcoal. Everyone knows charcoal is the door to aromatic smell and taste for food. Just like how Bejing Roasted Duck is cook. Great flame with special selected woods to create great aroma for the meat.

Does this reminds you of your grandparents during your childhood. Holding your hands and bring you to the coffee shop for breakfast and let you have a sip of a hot served kopi "O"?

We ordered 2 types of noodles, straight noodles and curl noodles. Personally I still love the curl one because the texture is more QQ. Char siew was nice but too bad they only gave a few pieces for every bowl they served. Juicy and tender and I'm craving for more. Unfortunately, they do not sell the char siew itself.

This stall is just some where nearby this old Cathay cinema which is no longer operating for business. It is just around the food heaven, Carpenter Street. This is where you could find various of cuisines. Indian, Chinese and Malay.

Hopefully you would find it if you are around Kuching. Exploring for nice food is as adventurous as climbing up a mountain or even diving down the sea. Time to explore!

TOUGH

Why do people looks tough when they are actually weak in heart? Why do people pretending to stand alone without no one but actually they need care the most? Why do people trys to look tough from the outside to decrease the possibilities of being bully instead some people actually trying to help with open arms? This is actually a very broad definition out of it. So what position are you in for being tough. Everyone was trying to be tough for lots of things that they are facing nowadays. There are nothing wrong with it to be tough but remember there is still friends out there to lend you their shoulders and be a good listener.

YOU TIAO & JOHN KING TART

YOU TIAO is what we called in Chinese and ' YAO ZA GUAI ' is what Cantonese named it and this food is said to be origin from Cantonese people. This is one of the high demand food in Pavilion. It is simple, non-oily and reasonable in price. Their freshly made Tau Foo Far taste great and it is so smooth and doesn't have much of the bean taste which make people hardly love to eat them..... You Tiao - It is so crispy to eat just like that or you wanted to eat with their plain porridge would also be great because the combination of both makes perfect!!! Porridge - Their porridge is not so hardened or over watery. I guess that's the perfect way to describe. It is just alright and you can hardly see the rice but instead it is little sticky which a porridge should have.... After having that, my friend continuing exploring other food in the section. We go for the tart that had been very popular and keep mentioning by those who had ever had them. The legendary tart, ...

Angels & Demons

This is another great production after DaVinci Code. This is greater, excited and more knowledgeable movie. This movie is more to Christian history and all the ceremony and nevertheless famous place that Christian treat as honourable. I have nothing much to comment on this movie as I think from the beginning till the end the story was quite good. The flow is indeed smooth and connected. I did enjoy the time Tom Hanks search for clue to find the candidate popes where they were hide and the place they will get killed. There is so much excitement in it. My feeling was just like a roller coaster going ups and downs without knowing what would it be the next moment. I could only give two thumbs up for it. Don't believe what I said? Watch it yourself and you will know what I meant.
