Miri Marriott celebrates Global Customer Appreciation Week

Miri Marriott is pleased to present its newly transformed guest room to the invited guests followed by a Sunset BBQ dinner to kick off the Marriott Global Customer Appreciation Week (GCAW). Themed "making greater connections", Marriott paid tribute to valued stakeholders who continually gave tehir support to the hotel despite evolving trends in the hospitality industry.


Miri Marriott has announced plans for a week-long festival of community engagement, known as GCAW from November 7 until November 11. The GCAW is simply a chance for us to personally thank our guests and customers and to give something back to communities we live and work in. Miri Marriott Resort & Spa would like to extend a sincere and heartfelt "Thank You" to all our customers during the week.

The GCAW activities taking place in our property included cocktail party followed by dinner, visit to loyal corporate clients with gifts, and movie day with Sarawak Cancer Society Children at Golden Screen Cinema.

This year's Global Customer Appreciation Week is a very special week for us, in addition to accomplishing all the things we set out to do as our way of saying "Thank you"to our customers, we are also able to partner with and assist a very worthy cause,"said Doris Chin, Director of Operations of  Miri Marriott Resort & Spa.






The GCAW of  Marriott properties celebrated worldwide is an excellent opportunity to highlight the outstanding guest services provided by the hotel and to reinforce relationships with business partners by showing appreciation, and to thank them for their loyalty to the brand.

Truly amazed how Miri Marriott had pulled up such an amazing night with irresistible table of feast. I can understand why when I see a team of cooperative and hardworking people. Despite it's an appreciation, they are also giving us another platform to broaden our network and definitely socializing with guests. Thou it's not putting your hair down and rock the dance floor moment (not doing that freely yet), but hey, we still feel truly blessed for the opportunity and chances given.  


We are having a great night thanks to them. Also not forgetting my fellow bloggers who are always a great companion. The ladies in action who never failed their duty.

YOU TIAO & JOHN KING TART

YOU TIAO is what we called in Chinese and ' YAO ZA GUAI ' is what Cantonese named it and this food is said to be origin from Cantonese people. This is one of the high demand food in Pavilion. It is simple, non-oily and reasonable in price. Their freshly made Tau Foo Far taste great and it is so smooth and doesn't have much of the bean taste which make people hardly love to eat them..... You Tiao - It is so crispy to eat just like that or you wanted to eat with their plain porridge would also be great because the combination of both makes perfect!!! Porridge - Their porridge is not so hardened or over watery. I guess that's the perfect way to describe. It is just alright and you can hardly see the rice but instead it is little sticky which a porridge should have.... After having that, my friend continuing exploring other food in the section. We go for the tart that had been very popular and keep mentioning by those who had ever had them. The legendary tart, ...

Angels & Demons

This is another great production after DaVinci Code. This is greater, excited and more knowledgeable movie. This movie is more to Christian history and all the ceremony and nevertheless famous place that Christian treat as honourable. I have nothing much to comment on this movie as I think from the beginning till the end the story was quite good. The flow is indeed smooth and connected. I did enjoy the time Tom Hanks search for clue to find the candidate popes where they were hide and the place they will get killed. There is so much excitement in it. My feeling was just like a roller coaster going ups and downs without knowing what would it be the next moment. I could only give two thumbs up for it. Don't believe what I said? Watch it yourself and you will know what I meant.
